A lifeboat station has been operating here since 1802, from 2007 the volunteer crew have benefited from a brand-new building 
Whitby Lifeboat Station is situated on the east coast of England, in North Yorkshire. Clearly visible within the busy and attractive harbour of Whitby. This houses their inshore lifeboat OEM Stone III, crew training rooms a galley and offices whilst the all weather lifeboat George and Mary Webb lies afloat outside.

Lifeboat weekend 2010 was a great success, with only a couple of showers on the Saturday but this did not dampen spirits.Sunday was better with the sun shining most of the day to everyone’s delight. Click Here for More details
